MyOrbitHealth helps Florida operators connect their brand to licensed providers, pharmacy fulfillment, labs and clinical software. For a Miami wellness brand, Tampa practice or Orlando business adding virtual care, the service should be designed around where patients receive care—not just where the business sells it.

This is an operator launch guide, not a patient booking directory. City examples are hypothetical and do not describe named clients, measured outcomes or MyOrbitHealth local offices. General information only, not legal or medical advice.

Florida telehealth registration is not a blanket permission

Florida provides an out-of-state telehealth provider registration pathway under section 456.47. That is a clinician-specific pathway with eligibility and practice restrictions, not a license for an unlicensed business owner to practice medicine. It should not be assumed to authorize in-person care.

Have your clinical and legal team confirm the appropriate full license or registration, the service scope and any applicable clinic requirements. Our Florida telehealth rules page is the state-level reference; the official Florida resources below should guide legal review.

Miami: design language access into the clinical workflow

Illustrative operator: a Miami brand wants to offer an English- and Spanish-language care experience.

Do more than translate the sales page. Identify the language required for intake, provider communication, consent and follow-up. Confirm whether the program can match an appropriately authorized provider who speaks the requested language, and what happens when that provider is unavailable.

MyOrbitHealth's multilingual providers speak Spanish, Hindi, German, Filipino, Mandarin and more. Constellation lists multilingual providers among its plan features. Language support and availability should be scoped for the actual service, rather than promising that every language is available at every hour.

Keep clinical questions with the clinical team. A bilingual salesperson or machine-translated marketing page is not a substitute for an appropriate clinical communication arrangement.

Tampa: connect virtual follow-up to the existing practice

Illustrative operator: a Tampa practice wants patients to complete eligible follow-ups remotely.

Define when a remote encounter is appropriate, when an in-person assessment is necessary and who makes that decision. Align the virtual record with the treating practice so follow-up notes and lab results do not disappear into a separate sales system.

Patients should know who provides care, where to ask medical questions and what to do if the virtual service cannot meet their needs. Do not advertise telehealth as a replacement for emergency services or promise a prescription before review.

Orlando: plan for visitors and changing patient locations

Illustrative operator: an Orlando wellness business serves customers who may live elsewhere or travel between states.

At every clinical encounter, confirm where the patient is physically located. A customer who first used the service while in Florida may need different provider routing after returning home. Their Florida purchase history or shipping address does not settle jurisdiction for a later visit.

Separate encounter location from medication delivery address. A pharmacy handoff should confirm destination eligibility, accurate shipping details and any special handling requirements before promising delivery. Avoid presenting a travel-oriented service as guaranteed same-day treatment or fulfillment.

A Florida patient-location workflow

  1. Explain the service scope before purchase or intake.
  2. Record the patient's location for the encounter.
  3. Route to a provider with the appropriate authority for that location and service.
  4. Let the clinician decide whether remote care and any proposed treatment are appropriate.
  5. Confirm the patient's lab and pharmacy options.
  6. Recheck location and communication needs at follow-up.

For a multi-state brand, build this into the clinical operating process rather than asking support staff to infer location from an IP address.

Lab collection and pharmacy logistics

For programs requiring testing, confirm a practical collection option for the patient. MyOrbitHealth supports provider-ordered labs through walk-in collection, at-home kits and mobile phlebotomy options. Availability of a particular option or collection site must be checked for the program and patient location.

Plan what happens if a patient returns home before collection or asks to change a shipping address. Keep lab-result review with licensed clinicians, not the commercial support team. Medication pricing and the medication list are at hub.myorbithealth.com.

Published platform pricing for Florida operators

These are business platform fees, not Florida patient visit prices:

Plan Monthly platform fee One-time onboarding
Satellite $997 $5,000
Orbit $1,997 $10,000
Constellation $2,997 $20,000

Completed consults start from $19.97. Constellation lists multilingual providers and website buildout; Orbit and Constellation list API, webhooks and MCP. Confirm all inclusions and separately scoped medication, lab and implementation costs on the pricing page and in your written proposal.

Frequently asked questions

Does MyOrbitHealth operate in Florida?

Florida is within MyOrbitHealth's stated service coverage. Confirm the provider, service line, pharmacy and integration scope for your proposed program before launch.

Does Florida telehealth registration cover in-person services?

Do not assume it does. The out-of-state telehealth pathway has specific restrictions; review section 456.47 and the Florida Department of Health's guidance with your clinical and legal team.

Can a patient continue care after leaving Florida?

Only after the clinical team confirms appropriate coverage and authority for the patient's new encounter location. A prior Florida visit is not automatic permission to provide care in another state.

Are Miami, Tampa and Orlando physical MyOrbitHealth locations?

No local office or walk-in clinic is claimed in this guide. They are examples of cities where operators can plan remote services within Florida's coverage.

Plan your Florida launch

Bring your intended patient locations, languages, service lines and systems to a discovery call. Compare the California operator guide and Texas integration guide if your audience crosses state lines.

Official sources and review date

Section 456.47 includes synchronous and asynchronous technology in its telehealth definition, excludes email and fax, and requires care consistent with the applicable in-person professional standard. Sending an email alone is not a substitute for the clinical encounter.
