Frequently asked questions

What does a physician PC owner do?
Owns the professional corporation, holds the licenses the state requires, oversees clinical quality, and keeps authority over medical decisions. The MSO cannot direct their clinical judgment.
Can an NP or PA own a practice without a physician?
It depends on the state. Some states give NPs full practice authority; others require a collaborating physician or physician ownership. Our guide on whether nurse practitioners can own a practice covers each state.
Which states do your physicians cover?
All 50 states. Coverage for a specific role and service line is confirmed during scoping.
What does it cost?
Fees depend on the role, states and scope and are confirmed in your agreement.
What happens if the physician leaves?
The agreement set includes succession terms so a replacement physician can be appointed without disrupting patient care.
